White Fly in Guava Plant

Measures to Control White Fly in Guava Plant

Whiteflies are tiny, sap-sucking insects that are related to aphids, scales, and mealybugs. They are found all over the world and can infest a wide variety of plants, including vegetables, fruits, ornamentals, and greenhouse crops. Whiteflies are most active in warm, dry weather and can reproduce quickly, making them difficult to control. The spiralling whitefly has four life stages: egg, nymph, pupa, and adult. The adult whiteflies are tiny (about 1-1.5 mm long) and white with powdery wings. They lay their eggs on the undersides of leaves. The nymphs are yellow and flat and do not have wings.
