ফিপ্রোনিল ভিত্তিক ফিনাইল পাইরাজোল কীটনাশক যা বিভিন্ন ফসলের পোকামাকড় নিয়ন্ত্রণে অত্যন্ত কার্যকর। ফিপ্রোনিলের একের মধ্যে দুইটি ক্রিয়া রয়েছে: এটি কেবল কীটপতঙ্গকে কার্যকরভাবে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে না বরং এটি গাছের বৃদ্ধির বর্ধিত প্রভাব যেমন বর্ধিত মূলের বৃদ্ধি, অধিক সংখ্যক উৎপাদনশীল টিলার ইত্যাদি দেখায়, যার ফলে উচ্চ ফলন হয়।
