Emamectin benzoate 5% SG Chemical Composition

Emamectin benzoate 5% SG is an insecticide formulation that contains 5% emamectin benzoate as the active ingredient. The remaining 95% of the formulation is made up of inert ingredients, which are substances that do not have any insecticidal activity. EMA 5 Mode of Action

1. Ingestion or Contact: Emamectin benzoate can be ingested by the insect and pest when it feeds on treated leaves or it can come into contact with the insecticide through its body.
2. Disrupts Nerve Function: Once inside the insect's body, emamectin benzoate disrupts the normal function of its nerve cells.
3. Paralysis: This disruption in nerve function leads to paralysis of the insect. The affected insect will stop feeding and eventually die within 2-4 days of exposure.
