Katyayani BAXIL (Bacillus supp 2% AS) is a Bio fungicide. It is a liquid formulation containing high concentrations of natural live Bacillus Subtilis bacteria. When applied to the soil, plant or seeds, the bacteria colonize the plant root zone and help to protect plants from a variety of fungal diseases. It is considered an eco-friendly alternative to chemical fungicides because it is safe for humans, animals, and the environment.

Mode of Action of Bacillus Supp 2% AS
It works in a few different ways to suppress fungal growth:
- Competition: Bacillus subtilis competes with pathogenic fungi for space and nutrients on the plant surface and in the soil.
- Antibiotic production: Bacillus subtilis produces antifungal compounds that can inhibit the growth of fungal spores and hyphae.

Dosage of Bacillus Supp 2% AS
Soil Application: Mix 1 - 2 liter of Bacillus Subtilis per acre with 200 kg of FYM/compost and broadcast in the field at the time of land preparation, sowing, and standing crops. Give light irrigation after application.
Foliar spray: Mix 5 - 10 ml of Bacillus Subtilis in 1L of water and spray to cover both sides of the leaves at the appearance of the very first incidence of the disease symptoms. Repeat at intervals of 7-10 days.
Important recommendation: 2-3 applications are recommended at intervals of 7-10 days. Can be increased depending on the disease incidence.
