Mode of Action:
Katyayani Alphacypermethrin 5% WP is a non-systemic insecticide. This means it doesn't penetrate the plant tissues but works on the surface. It exerts its effect through contact (when the insect comes into direct contact with the insecticide) and stomach action (when the insect consumes it). Furthermore, even in very low doses, it affects both the central and peripheral nervous systems of the insect, leading to paralysis and death.

Dosage Recommendations:
For control of adult mosquitoes:

• Double Cycle Application: This method provides prolonged protection. After the initial application, it should be repeated after 3 months. For this, mix 250 grams of the insecticide with 10 litres of water. This mixture is sufficient to treat a 500 square meter area.

• Single Cycle Application: For a one-time application, mix 400 grams of the insecticide with 10 litres of water. This is also suitable for treating a 500 square meter area.
